The last soul that was laid to rest in historic Colonial Park Cemetery in Savannah, GA was buried before the Civil War. This haunted site is now in the heart of downtown Savannah. Surprisingly, this part of town used to be considered the outskirts.
On any given night, you'll see ghost tours gathered around the iron fence of the Colonial Cemetery's west side. This part of the cemetery was paved over to make continue the grid system we drive on today.
